Step 5: Learn how remaining in Christ affects others
Scripture Memory: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” –Matthew 11:28
Bible Scripture: John 15:9-12, Matthew 3:17, Matthew 17:5; John: 17: 22-23;26
Questions to think about:
1)How do we remain in his love according to John 15:10? (Obeying his commands)
2) According to verse 12, what is his command? Love each other as he loves us
3) What are some ways you can love other people as Jesus loves us?
Notes:
“As the Father has loved me, so have I love you.” –John 15:8
“Jesus said simply that the love he received from the Father, he has given to us.”
“His command is just that we would love others like he has loved us. Remaining in Christ’s love will cause you to want to give his love away to others. The more you receive from him, the more you are going to want to give away”

Challenge for this week:
1) Spend time with Jesus in prayer and reading.
2) Love others as Jesus has love you.
